Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a psychotherapy designed to help adults heal from trauma or stressful life situations.   EMDR is different than other types of psychotherapies in that it does not require homework or extensive discussion about the trauma.  EMDR is designed to help the brain resume normal healing processes.  For more information, feel free to visit www.emdria.org.  The following are just a few issues that psychotherapists use EMDR with adults:
Anxiety, panic attacks, and phobias
Depression disorders
Performance anxiety
PTSD and other trauma related issues
Sleep issues
