Life can feel overwhelming—like you're stuck in patterns you can’t explain, reacting in ways you don’t want, or simply exhausted from trying to hold it all together. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, trauma, depression, disordered eating, parenting struggles, or relationship tension, healing starts with understanding—not just managing symptoms but exploring the deeper roots.
At Countryside Counseling, we believe lasting change happens when you feel safe enough to uncover what’s underneath—the thoughts, beliefs, and past experiences shaping your present. That’s why we prioritize what we call basement healing: going deeper to address the emotional roots, not just the surface-level struggles.
Our work together focuses on helping you regulate your emotions, build resilience, and gain the clarity to live the life you want. We help teens (12+) and adults reconnect to themselves, develop healthier relationships, and move forward with purpose.

We also integrate daily practices that promote healing beyond the therapy hour. Just 5–10 minutes a day (or most days) of guided journaling, paired with principles of neuroplasticity, can begin to rewire thought patterns and emotional responses. Our approach blends evidence-based methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Self-Compassion, Mindfulness, and Somatic Therapy to support lasting change.

Every client’s journey is unique. We tailor therapy to your story, using an integrative approach that takes into account your experiences, personality, relationships, culture, and community. We also value a systemic lens—because healing often involves more than just the individual.
Countryside Counseling is here to walk beside you—with compassion, curiosity, and proven tools for transformation.

Countryside Counseling is located in McLoud, Oklahoma, in a quiet rural setting that offers a comfortable and relaxed space to support your healing. In-person and virtual sessions are available.
